MAC ID and Employee ID Card

  • A Mac ID is a unique, alphanumeric identifier provided to all McMaster community members to access university systems, resources and applications.
    • Additional permissions may be required for some services.
  • Mac ID is used to authenticate services, such as: All items are web linked
  • An Employee ID card is for:
    • Your employee ID

    • Your access pass

    • Your library card

    • Your meal plan card

    • Your paid print card

    • Your recreation pass

    • A convenient method of payment

      1. Funds can be added to your card for swipe pay

      2. McMaster is a cash free campus

  • All building access can be added to your Employee ID card.
    •  Please note an employee card will come without a photo.
    • If you would like a photo on your card please see step above
  • PNB has our own internal card and key setup system

    • This form should also be used for Lost or Stolen Cards/Keys/Renewals and Returns
  • We will not accept email requests. If we receive them we will send you the form link in response.
  • If you require access to another building that is not on our form, please contact their buildings admins
  • For anyone requiring animal facility access CAF must be contacted https://afm.mcmaster.ca/
    • This may involve online training
    • Access cannot be granted until CAF contacts Taylor Bowker advising all courses have been completed
