Please join us for our first colloquium talk of the Fall this Thursday September 11th in PC 155 at 2:30 PM! PNB colloquium is welcome to all—faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, staff and more!

There will be snacks and refreshments before the talk (2:00PM) and a reception after the talk (3:30PM), both in PC Lobby, where you can mingle with colleagues and chat with the speakers. We hope to see you all there!

Title: Research Improv!

Abstract: Each participating lab prepares slides collectively and nominates a member (the PI or a grad student) to speak. But here is the catch — each member will present slides made by ANOTHER LAB! To the best of their ability, they will improvise an on-the-spot presentation based on slides they’ve never seen before! The audience will then rank the presentations based on believability, quality, and hilarity!
