Here is a short bio of Sean McWeeny:
Sean completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in psychology and music, before completing a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University. His research interests include auditory attention, early detection of communication disorders (e.g., dyslexia, hearing loss), behavioral and neural synchrony, and the role of music in social contexts. His research is supported by advanced course work in systems neuroscience and statistics, with a particular interest in meta-science
