Go Canada!!! We are over the moon to announce that Helene Li, the Canadian National Brain Bee Champion, has taken FIRST place at the International Brain Bee!

Helene Li first won the Ottawa Brain Bee, then won the Canadian National Brain Bee championship, and this week won the 2022 International Brain Bee championship.
Helene just graduated from Grade 9! She is destined for great things!

PNB has hosted the Hamilton Brain Bee at McMaster annually since 2004, and PNB has hosted the Canadian National Brain Bee at McMaster annually since 2008. This is possible due to our AMAZING volunteers, staff, faculty, grad students, and undergraduate students (see the 2022 volunteers).

The IBB was remote once more this year, which has a silver lining in that we have several live-streamed events on YouTube. I’ve provided 3 links here, and you can see the others in the attached schedule. Also attached is the Program Booklet where you can see photos of the competitors from all the competing countries.
